Free Choice Healthcare Foundation (FCHF) is a non-profit community outreach program focusing on the financial needs of the patient. Our mission is to connect patients with managed care networks in the communities we serve. FCHF provides financial assistance to patients who would otherwise be unable to afford better access even with the provisions granted by the Affordable Care Act of 2010.
The mission of the foundation is to provide assistance for those most in need of immediate medical attention with the best possible providers and payers. The demographic the foundation is reaching out to may never have had access to private payer or non-government subsidized insurance marketplace. We are creating an equal playing field by providing timely access to a quality of care as never before.
What are the benefits to our program?
Patients
Patients will receive the medical care they need in a timely manner. The patient demographic FCHC benefits are the uninsured with patterns of high utilization patterns.
Providers
In times of decreasing revenue for hospitals, FCHF has a proven program to alleviate the burden of an uninsured population with high utilization patterns. This improves revenue and gives the hospital an effective way of serving their community.
